Roses, crocuses, violets, irises, lilies, larkspur, and narcissus Crown
Techniques:
Stitching, Copper foiling, Glass Painting
Art Statement:
The crown (head piece?) itself resembles the Narcissus blossom- the glass is reflective outward to showcase the beauty of the flower, but behind the shine the true intention of the blossom becomes clear. The copper stitching resembles the gilded and inescapable cage that is the Underworld and Hades himself.
